Hi everyone,
We've had a productive few weeks at Blood of Atlantis HQ since the surveys and the digital editions of the issue went out.
I'm happy to report that 90% of you have already filled out your BackerKit survey. Thank you all for filling the survey out so quickly!
As a reminder, once you fill out your survey, you'll get access to the digital editions of Blood of Atlantis #3 and all your other digital rewards.
If you misplaced the survey link, just go to atlantis3.backerkit.com and you'll be able to get a new link to the survey.
If you have any other questions about the survey, please drop a comment to this update, or send me a message, and I'll get you squared away.
Upgrade to print!
One thing I forgot to mention in my last update. If you've backed at a digital tier but now want to get print copies of issue 3 or back issues, you can now add those via add-ons. You'll be charged the same shipping rate from the campaign, and you'll also get the print tier stretch goals. Even if you filled out your survey already, just visit the link above to add print issues to your order.
Gauntlet ebook ready!
For those of you who pledged at the Digital Reader tier, I just pushed out an email from BackerKit with a download link to the ebook of Guild of Magic: The Gauntlet, my newest NYC Questing Guild book!
Printing update
Unfortunately the printer I used for the last two campaigns closed their US printing facility, so I have switched printers. Fortunately, it's one of the most popular printers for Kickstarter comics and they have been great so far working out the logistics of the order. I expect to put in the order in the next day or so, and then they will ship me hard-copy proofs before printing the full order.
I'll provide an update hopefully in the next two weeks once the printing process is progressing, and also give you a sneak peek at the print proofs when they come in.
On the writing front, I am working on the script for issue 4. Stay tuned!

Hi everyone,
The survey smoke test was successful so the post-campaign survey has now been sent out via BackerKit!
You do not need to create a BackerKit account to fill out your survey. Just click the survey link in the email to respond. Answer the questions about your reward preferences, provide shipping information, and purchase any add-on items.
After you respond to your survey, you can go back later and change your responses at any time before I close the surveys and get my final counts.
Issue 3 is ready to go to print, so it's really important that you fill out your survey as soon as possible, so I can place the order with the printer.
How do I get my digital items?
Once you complete your survey, you should get a separate email from BackerKit with a link to download your digital items. That includes the regular and deluxe editions of Blood of Atlantis #3, the regular and deluxe editions of issues 1-2 (if you are in a catch-up tier), and the digital ebooks from my NYC Questing Guild series (the latest book in that series, which is included in the bundle, will be ready in the next week or so, so that will come in a separate email).
That's right, the digital comic is waiting for you just as soon as you fill out the survey, so even more of an incentive to complete it ASAP.
You'll a new email every time a new digital item is ready, such as the pre-launch follower bonus short story and the stretch goal comic.
What if I don't see the email yet?
Check your spam folder. If you use Gmail, sometimes your invite will go to your "Promotions" tab. If you still can't find it, search your inbox for "BackerKit"
What if I need to change my responses?
If you need to review your information or pledge status, you can return to your survey by clicking the link in your survey email or requesting your survey link under "Lost your survey?" on my BackerKit project page at atlantis3.backerkit.com.
Apple ID Private Relay email address?
If you did not receive the email, and you signed in with Apple ID, your email address might be a private relay email address. We can help locate your survey and update your email address, please message me or post a comment with your Backer ID or Pledge # found on your confirmation.
Survey Lockdown
In the end of middle of June, I will lock down the survey, meaning that you will no longer be able to add add-on items or upgrade your pledge tier.
The survey is locked down so I can order the correct number of comics. You'll still be able to update your shipping address until 48 hours before I start fulfillment. And don't worry, you'll get plenty of lead time to do so.

Hi everyone,
I'm happy to report that the regular and deluxe versions of Issue 3 are done, and that I've submitted the BackerKit survey for approval.
AFter the survey gets approved (usually take a day or two), I'll send out a "smoke test" survey to about 5% of backers, just to make sure everything is set-up correctly. Then the survey will go out to everyone else within a day or two.
Once you fill out your survey, you'll be able to download all of the digital issues in your pledge!
I am now working on ordering the print copies of issue 3 (and the second printing copies of issue 1), as well as the other new physical items, so that we can start fulfilling in the next several weeks.

Hi everyone,
Happy spring! Things are cooking over here at Blood of Atlantis HQ!
I'm happy to report that lettering for issue 3 is complete, and we are working to finalize the back matter pages. Once those are done, the digital copy of issue 3 will be ready for distribution.
Backers whose pledge included your name listed in the back of the issue just received a Kickstarter message from me with information on how to submit your name to be included. If you don't want your name listed, no worries.
It is important that you submit your response ASAP so we can finalize the issue. I'll be working on the BackerKit survey over the next week, and my goal is to send out the survey once the digital issue is ready, meaning once you fill out your survey, you get your digital comic!
Next up will be finalizing the print versions, so we can get the campaign fulfilled by next month.
