Hi everyone,
We've reached the end of the Blood of Atlantis issue 3 campaign!
Thanks to your support, we unlocked 3 stretch goals, hit the $10K mark, and finished with over 340 backers!
So what happens now?
Kickstarter is processing payments now, and it will take a couple of weeks for Kickstarter to transfer over the funds to me.
If you received an email saying that your payment couldn't be processed, please follow the instructions, as you only have a limited amount of time to fix your payment information so that your pledge can go through. You'll also see a red banner at the top of the page the next time you visit Kickstarter.
If your tier included a thank you in the back of the comic, I will (hopefully) be using the Kickstarter survey tool to collect your name shortly, so that there won't be any delays in sending the book to print.
I will also be setting up the post-campaign rewards survey over on BackerKit.
Through the survey, you'll provide your email address for digital item delivery and your shipping information (if you are a physical tier backer).
In addition, you'll be able to buy any of the add-ons that were available in the campaign, like extra covers and swag.
I’ll give you a heads-up before we send the survey so that you can watch for it.
Surveys will remain open for about a month, at which time they will be locked down - except you will be able to update your address right up to a week or so before rewards are shipped.
As always, we are so grateful for your support and for your enthusiasm and can't wait to get you your comic!

Thank you, Vegeta! And that means that we've unlocked the third stretch goal and revealed the fourth stretch goal:
Everyone gets an all-new holo trading card with art from Fran Deglado! If we unlock the fourth stretch goal, Enid Balám's pulp story will be expanded to three pages. So continue to share the campaign and let's have a big finish!

We've got just under a week left in the issue 3 campaign! Based on our current trajectory, I think we are going to finish above the campaign for issue 2, which would be amazing.
So please keep sharing the campaign and telling your friends! We got a great shout-out from Absolute Batman writer Scott Snyder yesterday!

Hope you had a nice weekend! We were buried under more snow here in New York, but hopefully it will melt soon.
Second Stretch Goal Unlocked & Third Stretch Goal Revealed!
I'm happy to report that we've unlocked the second stretch goal! All backers will now get a 1-page comic illustrated by Enid Balám chronicling a pulp adventure from Beatrice's imagined past! Basically, we're going to turn one of our pulp homage covers into a real story! But we need your help picking!
To vote on which story will be featured in the stretch goal comic, leave a comment on the main campaign page here with your vote! Here are the story choices:
- The Blade of Medusa
- The Gear of Antikythera
- The Ring of Prometheus
Voting is open until the end of the campaign. Could the story expand to more pages? With your support, anything is possible ;)
Because we've unlocked the second stretch goal, we're also revealing the third stretch goal: an all-new Pillars of Atlantis holo trading card, the second in the series! If we unlock this stretch goal, Fran Delgado will illustrate a new card that will be included in everyone's pledge (digital or physical). Plus, new backers will also get the first card in the series, so you'll be able to build your collection.

Hi everyone,
The Blood of Atlantis Kickstarter is going strong as we enter the second weekend, with 234 backers and almost $6400 in funding!
Thank you again for coming out and showing your support for our series. As independent creators, we rely on you--the readers, the fans--to keep us going, and we really appreciate it.
Hopefully by the end of the weekend we will have unlocked the second stretch goal ($7000) and the next backer bonus (250 backers) which combined will add two free comics to everyone's pledge!
