Hi everyone,
The Blood of Atlantis Kickstarter is going strong as we enter the second weekend, with 234 backers and almost $6400 in funding!
Thank you again for coming out and showing your support for our series. As independent creators, we rely on you--the readers, the fans--to keep us going, and we really appreciate it.
Hopefully by the end of the weekend we will have unlocked the second stretch goal ($7000) and the next backer bonus (250 backers) which combined will add two free comics to everyone's pledge!

The series tellsthe story of Morgana Pendragon, who having lost her magic when she fled England twenty years ago, leads a mercenary team wherever the best paycheck is. All that changes when she receives a message to return—her brother, King Arthur, is dying. The meeting with Arthur is tense, but nothing can really prepare her for the reunion with her openly hostile son, Mordred.

Hope you had a great weekend! Since our last update, the campaign has been humming along. We've cleared 200 backers and are currently 281% funded!
Stretch Goal 1 Unlocked and Stretch Goal 2 Revealed
I'm happy to announce that we've unlocked the first stretch goal, which means that issue 3 will now be 34 pages long with the addition of 2 data pages! And because we've unlocked the first stretch goal, it's time to reveal the second stretch goal:
If we unlock the next stretch goal, everyone will get a copy of an all-new pulp adventure drawn by BoA issue 3 variant cover artist Enid Balám!
White Ash Crossover Print!
If you've been backing Kickstarter comics for the past few years, then you've likely come across Charlie Stickney's White Ash series.
The campaign for Charlie's latest double issue of White Ash is wrapping up tomorrow, and we're offering a special crossover print featuring Beatrice from Blood of Atlantis and Lillian from White Ash!
All you have to do is back both of our campaigns. You'll receive the physical crossover print if you back both campaigns at a physical pledge level, and the digital print if you back both campaigns at a digital pledge level.

Hi everyone,
We had a record-breaking launch day! Here's a recap:
- We finished the day with 140 backers and at 192% funded!
- That backer total was my highest-ever amount of day 1 backers across all 6 of my Kickstarter campaigns, and the highest-ever day 1 funding for an issue of Blood of Atlantis. You all really came out extra strong to support the campaign!
- We are within striking distance of unlocking the first stretch goal (maybe today, even?):
One of my favorite parts of the X-Men Krakoa-era books were the data pages that were sprinkled throughout the issues. If we unlock the first stretch goal, two data pages will be added to issue 3!
I've got a bunch of other awesome stretch goals planned (some familiar to past backers, some new), so please spread the word about the campaign and help unlock them!
